I just had a baby recently and my interview is on April 7th. I do not intend to send my child to a baby sitter, so do i need to call to have them make an accommodation for us? OR do we just show up to the interview with her? Any suggestions are welcome..

Side questions

Can you bring diaper bags/backpack and stroller?

Thank you!

On my interview day, I saw a couple with their baby in a stroller were allowed by the IO to enter the interview room together.

My husband and I brought our toddler to our interview for AoS.  Other families had their kids with them, too.  We had a stroller and a diaper backpack.  Our interview was in Chicago.  EDIT: We didn't call ahead to ask for any accommodations.  We all went through the metal detectors though I think the stroller had to go through the xray?  I can't remember.

Good luck at your interview!  :) And, congrats on the baby!  💖

Lots of people bring their kids to interviews. We were fortunate that relatives were able to watch our 6-month-old during our AOS interview. I will say, having a kid made our interview a breeze, since we only talked about kids for 5 minutes (the IO's wife was about to have their second kid), ran through the I485 for a couple minutes, and that was it. We were out in <10 minutes.

I did hear of one scenario where the baby was being fussy so the IO interviewed each person separately while the other watched the baby outside.
