Lol, I personally think having a baby really helps! We weren't planning on having a baby or anything, it just happened and everything worked out for us lol! But again I think it also depends on the immigration officer as well.. BUT baby is definitely a big indication of a bona fide marriage. And thanks

Hey!! Thank you so much!! We went to the Hoover office here in Tampa, Florida. The officer lady took my picture and my fingerprints during the interview. Did you not get any biometrics done after you filed? I thought usually they got that done after a month or two of filing. But again with everything happening it could have been delayed. Maybe you should give them a call and ask?

Thank you We had tons of organized information. She was very nice and even complimented our baby etc. She just asked. How did we meet, and then asked my husband how many times he visited me in india and then for pictures of us together and bank statements etc and that was it. She smiled and said you don't wanna be here all day. Logically everything went well it seemed, but my mind wanted the big "you're approved" haha i didn't know they had someone higher up that approves? I assumed they themselves were the approvers.

Hey everyone. My husband and me went with our 2 month old to our interview. The interview itself lasted 5 mins if that. The lady asked for pictures a few questions and took my biometric etc and just said "okay you'll receive SOMETHING in the mail within 30 days" She didn't really say if we were approved or denied. I heard other people come out and talking about getting their green card etc in 30 days. We had our 2 month old so i was thinking maybe they rushed it because of the baby I was waiting for the your approved but got this instead so a little nervous. What are your thoughts? Thanks

I just had a baby recently and my interview is on April 7th. I do not intend to send my child to a baby sitter, so do i need to call to have them make an accommodation for us? OR do we just show up to the interview with her? Any suggestions are welcome.. Side questions Can you bring diaper bags/backpack and stroller? Thank you!

Hey! I have been waiting to get my interview scheduled (for my green card with conditions removed) for the longest time. I have been checking my uscis case status for more than 6 months now, and it says the same thing "interview to be scheduled". Is anyone else in the same boat as me? Should I give them a call and ask? If so, who should I call?

Hello Everyone, I already did my research but I wanted to be doubly sure about this. I got my extended green card which is valid till January 31 of next year. My question is, do I have to do anything in order to renew the conditional green card? Or will USCIS make the decision on my case before my extension expires? Please let me know. Also, I had recently got a mail from USCIS saying that they have completed a preliminary review of the application and that they are transferring my case to National Benefits Center. And I happen to recently check USCIS's website about the case status and it updated to "Case is Ready to Be Scheduled for An Interview". What do you think about the above updates in the case? I guess I'm just a little anxious since I'm approaching the expiry date on my green card soon, but I wanted your input. Lastly, does anyone know how long does it take for the USCIS to set an interview? My service center is Nebraska Service center or at least that's where their last mail came from. Thank you so much everyone, for taking time and replying to my questions. I really appreciate any and all help offered to me!
