It's been almost a year since I got any correspondence from USCIS. But today, I received my Green Card in the mail. My last notice from them was November 2021, which was an extension of 24 months. Didn't have an interview or anything else. Will be applying citizenship when I can. That will be a whole other journey!

Congratulations! Glad you didn't have to get a stamp!

Glad to see approvals and green cards being issued. L the last correspondence we had was that our case was ready for interview on December 22, 2021. More than a year waiting for that interview and her 2 year extension ends in April.

Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for the good of those who love God: those who are called according to His purpose.
Hebrews 11:6 - And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.

Has anyone tried calling USCIS? Seems like a lost cause, especially if you ask for an agent. The system just kicks you out. So how did you get through?  My wife's 24 months will be up in June.

I just talked to an agent awhile ago via online regarding my N400 and I751. Just type Infopass and type talk to a live agent. Tried multiple times since yesterday! Same boat my ends in June too.

Hello ,

Can someone who has his new green card  please take a look at the expiration date ?

My card was issued in 2019 and expires in 2032 . My I 751 just got approved in December .

Also , although I got the card just fine in the mail , on my USCIS account it says that the post office returned it to USCIS.

Wondering if the card  has the correct expiration date and trying to contact USCIS without much succes .

Any advice  welcomed !

Thank you !

If your 10 year card was approved this year in December, then December 2032 is correct expiration date.

Ignore the online status or you could call USCIS and double check everything is correct. I think it might be a system glitch.

Wanting to get some thoughts here. not legal advise ;) just thoughts.

My wife wants to travel back to the Philippines for about 2 months in December. However, her removal of conditions is still pending and her 2 year ext is coming up in June. if traveling with a Philippine passport staying the Philippines is visa free for us. Would it be better to just wait and file the citizenship aftwards or is the processing times quicker with N-400?

What happens if the ROC is still pending in December. She would nee to get a stamp correct?

Called USCIS and learned that there is a potential that our case will not be resolved until October 11, 2024. Of course our ext letter is expires in June of this year. So what we have to do for those who have extension expiring is to call the USCIS 60 days before the extension letter expires to get a new Extension.

I applied for citizenship as soon as the window was open, april 2022 and got interview on december 12, 2022.
my cousin didn’t apply for citizenship and he waited 2 years and four months to get his permanent green card on hand, look like is better apply for citizenship as soon as the window is open.

Unfortunately the Tier 1 officer you spoke to was probably just plugging in your application date and telling you the "in processing time" window. i.e. it was not specific to you or your actual case. You can see that info yourself if you plug in your service center here and once it gives you the estimate, scroll down to here: 1852282293_Screenshot2023-01-18at19_27_42.thumb.png.e34f87838e4f86e9a3f033a52e4c3164.pnghere:

There's no new extension, there is ADIT (I-551) stamp in passport valid for 1 year.
