In my case I contacted them after case status was ready and I filled out DS 260, then they sent me p3 packet and said to notify them after I gathered the documents. I sent the notification via email and then they sent my interview date and informed me where to do the medical and that I must do it before the interview. It seems that steps are a bit  different in every country.

PS As far as I know covide vaccine is a must in order to pass the medical.

Thank you for the heads up.

I'm fully vaccinated and boosted, so that should not be an issue.

I have a quick question. Once I was a approved at UCIS it already completed the DS-160

before it was transferred to NVC. Now when I input in the DS-160 confirmation number in CEAS. In the option nonimmigrant visa. It says NO STATUS. I do not have to worry right?

The K1 visa is a nonimmigrant visa that turns into Immigrant Visa. Because on the other hand when i input my case id number in CEAS in the immigrant visa option it says IN TRANSIT.

I just want to make sure that the DS-160 is still okey.

FYI: No information has changed. All is the same.

I was under the impression you had to fill out the DS 160 after the NVC gives you their case number, not after USCIS approves it.

I asked that question here too and they told me that I can file it without waiting for NVC. Once you are approved you can file it.

Greetings everyone,

FYI, a new I-134 affidavit of support form is now available at

https://www.uscis.gov/i-134

The edition date is 4/25/2022. You can use the old form till June 27, 2022, but best to use the new form for those of you who are still waiting for the consulate interview.

Good luck to all!

A couple of things about the new I134:

One, there is an online I134 filing specifically for financial support of Ukrainians.

Two, I134 now asks about the beneficiary income.

I haven't had a chance to look closely at all the sections, but those are the 2 that stands out the most from the previous version.

When you complete it. Do you have to upload it any where? Or do you send it to your fiance with the supportive documents?

Normally, the petitioner sends the completed I-134 and supporting documents to the beneficiary to take to the interview.
