Third anniversary today.

 

Even here, your parents meeting your fiancée a few hours before the wedding is probably not super common, though my intention was for it to be the day before. I didn't think there would be any issue booking a civil ceremony for Friday on Tuesday ... so we ended up with the last slot on Thursday, and almost missed it due to traffic.

 

PRG: Still don't want to send me home?

Me: Of course not.

PRG: Awww.

Me: What would I do with mini-Dave? 🤣

 

Anyway, she's been great, our little boy is adorable (even if he didn't want to let the neighbors' little girl play with his toys last night), and I don't know how I would have managed the craziness of the last two years without them.

Heap Strong Medicine again failed miserably, going to discontinue the new stuff man.

 

Lunch was Many (2+1) casa-made ham sandwiches, indict them man.

 

Went to Costco after leaving the POTS facility, mob scene man.

Gas lines were nearly backed up into the store driveways, mob scene man.

Our shorter line moved quickly, small blessings man.

Gassed the T-B.-mobile for only $Many,000,000, grrrrr man.

Got our Many (2+2+1) store items* for under $Many00, small miracle man.

     *including on-sale huge bag of Cape Cod potato-cheaps, big mistake man

 

Miu mobbed us for treats the instant we entered the casa, demanding miu man.

 

Din-din was the other half of last week's bagged salad, ingest but sick of salad we man.

Vegetables are what food eats, conclude we yet again man.

 

Attempted nap failed miserably, out-stressed and over-vegetabled we man.

Itineraried GSs/ESs on either side of the citywide GS, experienced we man.

 

Was out from half-past Many (2x2x2) a.m. till half-past Many (2+2) p.m., excursionary we man.

Did NOT want to get out of bed in the morning, desperately need-zzz-ing we man.

Indeed, our interest flagged until after lunch, flag-interesting we man.

 

The take, see man:

 -- Many (2+1) shirts for Mini-B. = $Many ($2+1), OK man

 -- black Wrangler jeans in our perfect size = $2 + half a buck, steal man

 -- 1 jar each of homemade plum jelly & blackberry jelly = $Many - half a buck

 -- 2 pants for Mini-B. = $1 + half a buck, steal man

 -- framed photo of mommy tiger slurping her cub, book for Mini-B., photo album for use

Day began cool but spectacular thereafter, Texas weather Many man.

 

Early lunch was at our favorite small-town restaurant, tradition man.

"Big Tex" chicken-fried steak + double green beans, ingest we man.

Carried out a whole apple pie for ingestation during Two Guys week, legendary flavor man.

 

Hit a previously unattended Aldi at end of route, had corn dogs there so legitimate man.

 

Reached casa exhaustedly, out-wiped we man.

Wearily cupboarded/fridged groceries, dreary job man.

 

Decided to mow full lawn, rain forecast next week man.

Finished mowing (with use of 1 sweatband) & blowing débris in one hour, get it over with man.

Showered, relief man.

 

Hit legacy supermarket for what Aldi never has, always necessary man.

Wearily cupboarded/fridged groceries, dreary job man.

 

Din-din was Many (2x2x2x2 -2) Costco meatballs, easy & filling man.

Napped for nearly 2 hours, need-zzz-ing we man.

Still groggy, still-need-zzz-ing we man.

Lunch was onecan of Costco chunk chicken, ingest we man.

 

Din-din was nuked bagged peas and half a bag of breaded chicken tenders with honey mustard sauce, ingest Two Guys man.

 

Mini-B. wanted Movie Night, twice weekly for a while man.

Watched "Davy Crockett," just the right length man.

Many (2+2+1) bowls of Costco popcorn were ingested, Two Guys man.

 

Severe weather predicted all day and certainly overnight, look out man.

Strong wind knocked down dead tree branches, look out below man.
