(CNN)Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene repeatedly indicated support for executing prominent Democratic politicians in 2018 and 2019 before being elected to Congress, a CNN KFile review of hundreds of posts and comments from Greene's Facebook page shows.

Greene, who represents Georgia's 14th Congressional District, frequently posted far-right extremist and debunked conspiracy theories on her page, including the baseless QAnon conspiracy which casts former President Donald Trump in an imagined battle against a sinister cabal of Democrats and celebrities who abuse children.
In one post, from January 2019, Greene liked a comment that said "a bullet to the head would be quicker" to remove House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. In other posts, Greene liked comments about executing FBI agents who, in her eyes, were part of the "deep state" working against Trump

In another, from April 2018, a commenter asked, “Now do we get to hang them ??” referring to former president Barack Obama and former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, KFile reported. In response, Greene did not denounce the suggestion of execution and instead wrote, “Stage is being set. Players are being put in place. We must be patient. This must be done perfectly or liberal judges would let them off.”

I swear the establishment Democrats hate this woman so much. So she liked a post OMG the world is falling down

She has consistently demonstrated a hatred of democratic process and norms, she has lied about Parkland (or she is seriously delusional).

It is not just about likes.

Why are Republicans flirting with this nonsense?

All of what she has said and did was before she took office not while she has been in office.  They did the same thing against the current Lt.Governor here in NC.

Serious question here.... If you want me to consider taking her out of office because of previous likes and tweets before she was in office can we do the same thing against some of the people that Biden wants to appoint to positions in his cabinet?

Republican leaders see appealing to white supremacy as a way for them to fire up their base and have power and money.

Cool.  Please let us know what horrible things the new cabinet members have tweeted, liked, etc. that includes executing US government officials.

(CNN)Most House Republicans were silent on Wednesday after CNN's KFile reported that Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene repeatedly indicated support for executing prominent Democratic politicians in 2018 and 2019 before being elected to Congress.

"These comments are deeply disturbing, and Leader McCarthy plans to have a conversation with the Congresswoman about them," Mark Bednar, a spokesman for House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy, said in a statement Wednesday evening. Axios was first to report his comments and the California Republican's plans to speak with the congresswoman.

House GOP Whip Steve Scalise said in a statement to CNN, "I've consistently condemned the use of violent rhetoric in politics on both sides, and this is no exception. There is no place for comments like that in our political discourse."

They are definitely flirting with supremacist ideas and catering to white identity politics.

Do you think the simple task of taking the oath of office transforms a person from delusional white supremacist to civic leader?

What it actually looks like is that she liked a single post talking about that. She didn't actually say anything at all about doing it. The CNN article keeps trying to up scale this like she did something more when in fact she didn't. They are just made that she won in her district by a wide margin

Video surfaces of Marjorie Taylor Greene confronting Parkland shooting survivor with baseless claims

Washington(CNN)Video of Republican Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene confronting Parkland shooting survivor David Hogg before she was elected to Congress went viral Wednesday amid an uproar over newly reported comments she made in 2018 and 2019.

In the video from March 2019, Greene follows Hogg as he walks toward the US Capitol. She can be heard making false and baseless claims as she asks him a series of questions related to gun rights and how he was able to meet with senators. Hogg continues to walk without addressing Greene.

"He's a coward," Greene says at the end of the video as Hogg walks away, claiming his activism was funded by billionaire philanthropist George Soros, who is often the subject of far-right conspiracy theories, and other liberals. "He can't say one word because he can't defend his stance."

You know calling someone a white supremacist or a fascist when there is no proof is running a bit thin by you the Left right? I mean you call everything these days white supremacist, facist, or a Asian/Latino having multi-level whitness

People on both sides say stupid things, and we often let it go. Talking about executing political opponents is taking stupidity up a notch too far. I'm not comfortable with anyone getting a pass for that level of insanity.

I am still waiting for something she actually said and not just a hitting the like button on a post.
