This has not been enough in the past.  Please see the Canada forum with the specific tread of domicile.  Montreal is very strict about this.

Montreal has always been a challenge when the USC is living in Canada.  When it is time to interview in Canada, the USC will want to send concrete proof, with the spouse, that they intended re-establish domicile in the US.  It is much safer for the petitioner to ¨move back¨ to the US before the interview.

Can’t count on both hands the number of people who say they want to stay together and their evidence is enough, who then end up in AP for months on end (and separated) when a few weeks of separation would have avoided the issue. But I’m still telling them hey try it if you think it’ll be okay! Have fun!
