Good Day to All,

I am attempting to interpret this following chart and just want to confirm my suspicions.

We have a NOA2 date of 9/28, so I suspect we'll get a notice shortly of arrival for the NVC. Does the graph attached mean we have another 3 month or so wait until the embassy visit stage is possible?

My fiancée is a school teacher in the Philippines and is asking when she should give notice for a leave of absence for the embassy visit, and when she should give notice to resign. Based on this, I suspect the answer is, not yet?

Considering Manila has not done any routine k1 interviews since March and likely won't until sometime in 2021, you will be lucky to get an interview by summer

YMMV

I wouldn't even count on getting an interview next year. You have at least seven months of backlog to catch up to September cases.

In addition to what others have said, it's really not a good idea for your fiancée to resign from her job until she has the visa on hand. Too risky.

Exactly.  And that is the official DOS recommendation as well.

Most embassies will have this in their P3 letter and/or on their website:

Do not sell your house, car, or property, resign from your job, or make non-refundable flight or other travel arrangements until you have received your immigrant visa.
