Anyone from oct 2020 filers still waiting? Filed N400 in September 2021. Waiting for both....

Yup. Oct 2020 I751, submitted the N400 in July 22(we should have applied for the n400 earlier.)

Waiting for both, USCIS sucks.

Contacted local congressman and USCIS basically told him that we must keep on waiting. I called USCIS to request a stamp on 11/10 and the local field office (YSC) has up to 30 days to call us back to set up the appointment. This entire system is ridiculous! :ranting:

Has anyone had their case transferred to the NBC in Lee's Summit, Missouri? Our original I-751 service center was Potomac (YSC) but we were transferred mid September to National Benefit Center MO.

My I-751 was transferred early this year  from YSC to NBC in Lee's Summit, Missouri  and within 2 months of transfer, I got my 10 yrs GC without interview. My N400 was filed in December 2021, waiting for interview at Baltimore, MD.

Does any one knows if you file N-400 things speeds up? my 2 year extension letter already expired

Depends. If you are in the early phases of i751 (which you are not, its almost 2 years), like if your file is just waiting in queue to be seen, then n400 can help. If you had your biometrics, interview done or waived, or in queue for interview, then most probably your n400 will cause your i751 to be pulled out from i751 queue & put in n400, & thus follow the n400 timeline.

But still, I would do n400 if eligible, because one would do it at the end of i751, so why waste time & start it now.

Need a little help:

  • Green Card (24 Month) extension expired Nov 17th, 2022. - EXPIRED
  • I-751 filed in Octorber 2020.
  • N-400 Filed December 2021.
  • Finished my biometrics Dec 2021.

No updates since for either. I called USCIS and suppositivly they said I canceled my interview for April 2022. But do I see anything on the online status and I did not get an appoinment letter.

Last week called USCIS to get a Info Pass appoinment to get a stamp (mainly for work purpose). I have an appoinment on Friday.

My questions: Do I need to filled out a I-90 and pay the fee? I still have my green card. On the appoinment letter it does not mention need for I-90.

No, you're still waiting for I-751 to be adjudicated.

Was it denied or what does the status say?

No.  The USCIS page for I-90 has a note that says: "DO NOT submit this form if you are a conditional resident seeking to remove conditions on your Green Card."

No, your current employer can't ask for new green card. In case of new job or travelling or driving license expiry, the only option is to get an ADIT I551 Stamp from USCIS by appointment. Most of the time stamp 8s good for 6 months, and you can get as many as you need as long as as of current you can show the need. Before covid there was no need to show the necessity of stamp to get one.
