Hello everyone,

Just recently came across this thread.

My wife (Petitioner) and I (Canadian beneficiary) filed July 16th (PD Date) for the I-130 CR1

We have been tracking our case almost daily. We have logged in to our USCIS account several times to see if our case has been "touched" but we have found no dates indicating this.

We still are awaiting an approval. As per Visa Journey, our most recent Estimated date of Approval is January 2nd, 2021. We are staying hopeful though that we get it before the end of this year.

Good luck to all and hopefully we can be reunited with our loved ones soon.

My husband has an account on USCIS but he didn't check it every day. I did check daily using case number with no account. So I can't tell you if we had "actively review" before the approval.

But as from watching other people experience it's definitely a good sign. You might get approved very soon. Keep us updated 😊 good luck!

Hello there!

My wife (US citizen, petitioner) and I (canadian citizen, beneficiary) filed and received NOA1 on July 16 2020.

We have not received any updates nor touch dates. We are still awaiting our NOA2 approval notice.

Does any recommend doing anything or is it too early to submit a case inquiry? Also does anyone know if they have ever handled the cases of gay couples differently?

I also am curious where people are finding that their case was "touched". We have checked under the Case History and Documents section of our USCIS account but it doesnt say anything regards touching our case or being under active review.

Thank you all and happy holidays!

I did not see any changes in status before our case was approved. Just my husband saw one date change from July 16 to end of August.
