I shared some general info with you last month:

I'm trying to complete form I-765 but I'm stuck on question #27. I don't know which  number and letter to use for my mom.

(c)(9)( )

Some more advice: For I-131 dates not needed. Put "TBD" for the Date of the trip; and "As needed" for the purpose of the trips.

You might need to handwrite "TBD" in that field if the PDF editor doesn't let you.

And select the box for Multiple trips.

So we got our interview for May 24th but up until now no sign of EAD/AP. Biometrics back on feb 11th. Should I worry?

This happened to a friend.

Chances are that you will just get your green card instead of the EAD/AP. The 485 and EAD/AP are processed by different centers (national benefits center for EAD/AP and your local service center for the 485) so sometimes one gets done sooner than the other so no need to worry at all!

My wife is in the same situation. USCIS scheduled the AOS interview, but no EAD/AP card as of yet.

Got EAD card nearly a month ago and still no social security card. My husband called before we even got the EAD card and they confirmed a number had been generated and told him it was supposed to be 7 days but would likely be closer to 2-3 weeks. We are in week 4 now and I just want to file taxes and he just wants to start work! Such a mess. 😕

It doesn't look like I'll owe taxes, so it doesn't really matter if I miss the tax deadline right?

I believe that you can apply for an extension that lasts until later this year. Not sure about the details but it might be worth looking into!

I hope your husband gets his social security card soon!!!

I called today IRS about the very same thing. We won't owe taxes (a payment) and be expecting a refund. After my conversation with IRS, it is better to be safe and just file an extension. You will have till Oct. to file. One can file electronically, or paper mail. Should be done soon though. Deadline is coming up.

Also, do we send it 3 different set of passport photos for each form? I485, I131 and I765. Or so we just sens in one set which is for the 485?
