Hopefully ours is not too far behind. I just don't understand why some cases are accepted before others that were received before them. I'm sure there is a method to their madness.

Did you follow up with them at the 30 day mark?

Three times so far. Last time yesterday and they couldn't find our information in their systems. Crossing our fingers it won't get rejected. 🤞🏻

Did you ask for a Supervisor?  It might be worth explaining that you have a signed delivery confirmation - Maybe try getting your Senator's office to make an inquiry?  It is screwed up how some move quickly and others drag - I honestly think it is all about whose desk you land on sometimes.

Few things i've been reading over, which can help.

1.  Use "EMAA" option on USCIS page and ask for "Live Agent". Then, request to speak with supervisor or Level 2 (may be more) agent. Try this option everyday and you'll find a good Samaritan who can go beyond to help you.
2.  Ask the supervisor to open a case for missing package since you had "proof of delivery" and grab the case number. That way, your case will have history.
2.  Send an email to Lock box with screenshot of "proof of delivery" by usps/fedex/ups etc ...
3.  Use below link to find out your area congressman and have them send an email.
       https://www.house.gov/representatives/find-your-representative

Normally, if USCIS kick back any application, it'll be fast (2/3 weeks). If not, you still have hope and at the mercy of USCIS.

Thanks for the great ideas. I will do that today. So far my card has not been charged.

Today is exactly 6 weeks since filing and still nothing. I will be calling again tomorrow since last week they were of no help given the fact that we aren't in their systems. Not sure what is going on. I hope  our file is just sitting on someone's desk and not lost.

Bad news! I just got word from USCIS through online chat. Our application was rejected apparently due to the I-130s. Not sure why? How long does it take to get the rejection letter and package back?

we sent our packet june 5th. we received noa-1 june 16th. our packet contained i-485, i-130, and  i-765. in one of the noa (i-485) it says our application was received and is in process, and will be waiting for the biometrics to take place. does that mean they encashed the money order we got? because the money order was from chase and i don't know how to track if it was cashed.

although until now we haven't heard anything from uscis since the june 16th noa-1 we received. is this normal?

my anxious brain sometimes goes haywire of all the possibilities, because i came here on a b2 visa, wasn't planning on an extended stay but my boyfriend-turned fiancee- turned husband, wanted me too because covid19 happened and realized traveling for a destination wedding in the future might not really be in the books now.

thanks for the future replies.

If you received NOA1 then your check was cashed = Prepare yourself for months and months of hearing nothing, that's how the process works, unfortunately.
