Biometrics appointment was completed on January 7th and last night case was updated to ready to be scheduled for an interview.  I guess the waiting begins again.

It was as short wait.  Just received an email stating the interview has been scheduled.  Now I hope the have the correct mailing address.

We are living in Idaho and hoping that is where they scheduled the interview.  We changed our address but the biometric letter was still sent to the wrong address.  I we just talked to USCIS and they confirmed they have our new address on file.

Oh wooow. I’m planning on changing my address and don’t know. So are you going to update your address at the post office or something like that or what’s your plan ?

Congratulation!!!!

I've just request to expedite my case this morning for financial loss. What was your reason and what proof did you give?

I basically have a job offer and I have no income at the moment.

Thanks a lot

Wow that's fast. Now I'm getting worried lol.

I think 1-2 months to approval is the new norm nowadays, I wouldn't worry (yet) if I were you.

I submit 3 things

1. Letter from current employer stating they want to retain me to avoid having to train someone else, etc -> financial loss for company (Im currently on OPT)

2. Letter of personal financial loss (I have a baby, my wife working less because of covid).

3. The email they sent

Hope this helps.

Hi everyone long time no posting since couple months ago! Happy to see everyone's case starting to move along. I got my biometric letter at the end of December, and did my biometric for I-485, 765, 131 on Jan 8th at the local ASC. I-485 status is "Ready to be scheduled for Interview" as of this morning. Case was initially filed at the beginning of July 2020.

Happy that worked out for you!! I filed in early July as well and did my biometrics for i-485 and i-765 on January 8th. No updates as yet but glad to see that you and I have a similar timeline and you are making progress! Good luck!!

Am I supposed to get a separate notice for my I-485 biometrics? The one I got and did on Jan 8th said it was for my I-765. Still hasn't updated online btw.
