Can you tell me what date did you request expedite EAD and how long has it been since then? Is your application at NBC

It’s a little over a week now. I requested it for financial loss. Good question regarding NBC I actually don’t know and or how to find that out.

Thanks @Faith2020Her bio appointment for I-765 was Oct. 30, so that's like a month and 2 weeks. No she didn't expedite it.

HI,

MY WIFE ENTERED THE US ON FIANCE VISA, IS SHE ABLE TO APPLY FOR A SOCIAL SECURITY? WE HAVE NOT RECEIVE HER GREEN CARD NOR WORK AUTHORIZATION.

If she still has a valid i94 she can.

if that has expired then she will need to apply for it with her adjustment packet, it is the i765 form. It can take 3-7 months. It depends on your case. I also recommend she apply for the advance parole, i131 as it is free. Good luck!

The initial deadline has long passed since US entry was on July 8th: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profile.php?id=283717 The initial deadline was 14 days before I-94 expiration date: https://secure.ssa.gov/poms.nsf/lnx/0110213300

If, within the next 14 calendar days from the current date, either the person’s lawful alien evidence expires or the person’s lawful alien status expires, do not process the SSN application. In these situations, SSA cannot print and mail the SSN card to the applicant before the lawful alien document or alien status expires. Instead, provide written notice (SSA-L676, Refusal to Process SSN Application) to the applicant explaining why you cannot process the SSN application and delete the application.

This morning my 485 changed to: Case is Ready to be Scheduled for An Interview.

PD: 07/10

Bio: 12/08  (Brooklyn, NY) - 485 & 765 are showing Fingerprints were applied but 131 still showing case received even though they took all 10 fingers.

I am hoping to receive my EAD soon but things are moving so it's a good sign!

Same happened to me , my i131 changed to fingerprints were applied to it , after 3 weeks of receiving my ead, hopefully it is not your case!

I called thousands of times and my lawyer as well requesting the bio to be applied into all 3 app’s , they repeated all the time that they were going to send me a letter with the bio appointment for i131 afterwards so now i guess i was and all the people here were correct. Some agents are not delivering 100% accurate info on the phone.

Should I expect EAD to be delivered 1 month after bio?

It changes from case to case, i believe. Mine was exactly 4 weeks

Has anyone been able to expedite the biometric but not because they're about to lose a job offer? I was wondering if I can request so I can get my biometric and move forward with the process but I don't have any pending job offers. I'm wondering what type of reasons they would accept.
