Trump signed a pretty minor amendment tonight regarding the 6/22 EO

Reading that total EO this sentence pops out

(Suspension of Entry of Immigrants and Nonimmigrants Who Present a Risk to the United States Labor Market During the Economic Recovery Following the 2019 Novel Coronavirus Outbreak),

Since a spouse can work immediately and present a risk to the labor market ,  what does this actually mean?

Are they leaving it up to embassies to interpret?

Kinda scary for those who are on hold for extended times already and have dreams for a life together

but the EO is ambiguous

Thoughts on this one part?

thanks.- someone posted in this forum that IR5 is exempt.

They posted the following link? https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/News/visas-news/presidential-proclamation-coronavirus.html

If so, it says "parents (provided that his/her U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident child is unmarried and under the age of 21)" Thus it isn't talking about IR-5 since petitioners have to be 21 or older. Also, that part of the page is referring to Subsection 2(a)(iii) of the five proclamations (Schengen Area; UK and Ireland; Brazil; Iran; China).

New issuance is still banned per April 22 PP until the end of the year.

So I am still kind of confused. Can I still enter on my K1 and K2 that were issued last month (June)?

Here is a summary that explains in laymen's terms as I needed to study the EO to determine if K-1's were or were not banned. Your good to go and I hope it soon. It's been a tough few months but you are still moving forward. Good luck and stay engaged.

So, even if I have a valid B1/B2 multi-entry visa and I'm a spouse of a LPR, that doesn't change anything? I'm stuck till the end of 2020? 🙄
