Status of Application Support Centers?

HI and sorry if I missed this discussion … curious to know: why didn't Application Support Centers open on June 4th along with Field Offices? Why the delay? Any word on when they may open besides "Application support centers will resume services later."

 

Noom's N-400 biometrics appt was scheduled for April 2 but then canceled due to Covid-19. Since his biometrics for ROC was completed on Sept 20, 2019 (9 mos ago), I'm assuming they may decide to re-use the biometrics and move him along to the interview stage...just waiting to hear something, anything.

Possible that USCIS thinks ASC is not priority or some other whacko reason

I'm really skeptical that they will waive or re-use old biometrics. In our April 2020 filers thread, there has been discussion that USCIS is claiming that they're being slow due to lack of funding as well, so this could be part of it.

Today, June 29th, most ASC offices are open; looks like some that remain closed are in states with spikes in coronavirus cases.

The blank ones are the States (just a header) and and filled ones are the specific ASCs (of a certain state). 

 

I believe the ones are not mentioned here assumed to be open. 

 

But the list seems still evolving (CA just added info about 2 ASCs), so just keep checking the link as they are updating it now.
