even though the interview may be after this date? do they not ask about this date when we call to set up the interview date? thank you

While this is something to be aware of,  it is not as big a deal as people make it out to be.   Appointments are made online and nowhere is this date requested.  They revalidate at the window during the interview

YMMV

Has anyone stayed in country outside the Schengen Zone for at least 14 days and entered on ESTA?

I'm aware of somebody who stayed outside a country impacted by that ban for at least 14 days and then was able to enter fine.

ESTA/VWP is not a factor relevant to applicability of the EO.

I'm from Germany, waiting for my K1 visa interview but I haven't seen my fiancé in 9 month. I really consider staying quarantined in Serbia for at least 14 days. We need to charge our batteries.

I'm close to considering this too..

I'm wondering if you stay in Serbia for 2 weeks, and you TRANSFER in, say, Frankfurt for a few hours before your flight to the US, would transiting in a Schengen country make you ineligible for entry into the US? Something worth thinking about... I'm not trying to scare you but if anyone has good information on this it might be worth sharing. Serbia doesn't have direct flights to the US as far as I know

yes - transiting make you restart the process.  You need to find a place to go that the trip to the US does not transit a travel banned country.

I saw a nonstop flight from Belgrad to New York. I think transfering in Frankfurt would make one ineligible for entry

No you can’t transit in a banned country. There will be direct flights starting July 1st.

Hey guys

quick question, I’m British with an Esta, currently waiting for our NOA2.

I live in Qatar and currently they have direct flights to the states, will they let me into the states with my Esta (Haven’t been to the U.K. since jan ) even though my country of origin is on the banned list ?

if yes, should I expect to be questioned a lot upon arrival ?

It doesn't matter your country of citizenship,  it matters wherever you have been for the previous 14 days

YMMV
