USCIS has been closed to in-person services since March.

If that is the case, why are you asking here?

I’m asking anyone who’s waiting oath ceremony in Memphis/ Mississippi too long like me. Maybe they got oath ceremony schedule. Are you in Memphis/ Mississippi? Seems like I am bothering you?

No I am not.  I was addressing the issue that uniformly, until June 4, 2020, all USCIS offices are closed to in-person services, as evidenced by the statement at USCIS.gov.

If you have special knowledge of something other than what USCIS is saying, more power to you.

No. I’m waiting for my oath ceremony like everybody. The oath ceremonies are happening in Arizona, Texas... That’s why I’m asking because I’m worried my case it has been 94 days.

Yes, and for much of that 94 days, USCIS services have been suspended due to an unprecedented global pandemic.  This means no interviews, oath ceremonies, biometrics, etc.  Its been in the news some.

@Jorgedig @Bebuhn

it’s true that USCIS offices are closed to the public but in many places oath ceremonies take place elsewhere and USCIS is still working so they did start scheduling oaths in several states as of mid May, in locations where social distancing is possible. Waiting applicants have been contacted if they will be able to attend on short notice (which was only a couple of days for some).

I personally have not heard of an Oath ceremony in TN yet, so just be patient and they shall contact you.

Yeah. I heard USCIS contact to the applicants for oath ceremonies but  limited number since mid of May. So I just wondering maybe they call us in Memphis/Mississippi too. Hope we will get it soon.

Does your status say you been put in line for Oath ceremony scheduling? You just said approved and recommended for review.

All the Field offices first have to reschedule those that were cancelled. So you haven;t got a date yet so you must wait. We were approved and put in queue April 7th I don;t expect scheduling got Houston  this year honestly alot to catch up to.

If you are still in "quality review" they haven't put you "in line" yet. When they put you "in line" it does not mean they have a date yet. They will sent you a letter with a date (when they have one) and it used to be 4 weeks out minimum, from that notice.

Ceremonies are location depended, even more so than the actual interview. So you cannot compare states and sometimes even USCIS offices.  Also keep in mind that the amount of ceremonies cancelled so far will increase the wait even more.

You could be in for a long wait (several months).
