I did not attend my wife's interview either, so I don't  think that is a factor. However in the cases I have read about here in VJ including  mine your initial interview had to be scheduled, then canceled, then status returned BACK to ready to schedule, then that is the point the next status was new card produced. In every case it happened like that as reported here on VJ.

Having said that I think your interview  has to be scheduled first then canceled. Of course this is all just speculation.

We are well thanks for asking. Bottom line the way things are going with USCIS I think sometimes they don't even know what's going on.  Things changing  every 5 minutes etc! All you can do is roll with the flow. I will say I would have thought there would be more waviers at this point in time considering this Corona pandemic.

Mine went from cancelled, to ready to be scheduled, to cancelled, to card being produced.

Has anyone with the "AOS from marriage" category had their interview waived?     So far almost all the waivers are K-1 and one F-1.

The only pattern I'm seeing is people who had interviews on a date when field offices ended up being closed are getting waivers. I am not seeing a trend on the type of Visa one is doing aos from. But that's just my impression based on very limited information and reading forums, so can be a completely wrong.  Basically,  I would hope and not speculate

Not really. USCIS offices were closed on the 18th nationwide. This person had their interview on the 23rd, and it got waived and approved
