All that I’m asking is if the US is still admitting B1/B2 visa holders if they haven’t travelled to a hot spot

SAA is not flying into JNB or anywhere, I just looked on plane finder and it has a 4 digit ICAO identifier, it’s a repatriation flight or charter...

And the main reason he wants to come here instead of go to South Africa is because they will be put in a 14 day quarantine in a government facility. If you want to know what that is like, imagine being locked in a jail with a whole bunch of other unscreened people and probably no access to health care facility’s .

Egyptair/Ethiopian? Plane gets stuck in that country from mechanical , boom your quarantined in a 3rd world country. Nice

Did you get any hepfull information about your dad going to the US and if he would be allowed into the country?

Thanks!

I am in similar situation. My husband has b1/b2 visa. Can he visit me in US at this time from Islamabad, Pakistan on this visa?

Hi,

I have called the CBP and they say that if you are not coming from a country that is on the list of travel restrictions, then you should be granted access. Of course it comes down to the border official that you talk to, and if they feel like letting you in or not..
