yes , me too, I feel there is a glitch or something with letters, because nobody who has filed in the last month or so has received it. USCIS should take a look because I never had this issue before

Right! And all my mail is arriving as normal. So it isn't USPS.

UPDATE: case status updated to 'finger prints taken'

(Still no NOA, 4 weeks and counting)

How did you get your receipt number to log in to check case status?

I attached the E-notification form G-1145 to my packet as per USCIS instructions. So I receive electronic notifications as well as mailed ones.

LOL! I might send the lockbox email today. There is obviously something going on if no one has received it yet.

Good idea. USCIS told me to wait until Monday for a response. If I do not receive it, I’ll call up again and explain I’m not the only one and something is obviously going on.
When I was filing for my K-1 in London, my application was being sent from Texas to London Embassy for my interview. They actually misplaced the box. A bunch of us didn’t hear anything for a month so couldn’t book interviews and people who applied after us were getting interviews. The embassy had no idea where it was as it hadn’t reached them and my husband in the US couldn’t get any information because it had left Texas. I honestly believe they need to start putting tracking on paperwork! It took another month for it to come through and we had no idea what even happened. Just one day got a case status change.

When you re-sent your package, did you resent it to the address that was listed on the rejection letter? I noticed it is a different address from the one we originally sent the package to.

also, besides putting in the correct check, is there anything else you added/fixed?

Thank you

All I did was write a check for the correct amount, paperclip the new check to the packet as they returned it, and sent it back to the address I'd originally sent it to.  I haven't heard anything back yet (obviously), so I can't provide more of an update or confirm if that was all that needed to be done.  The instructions didn't say anything else, so I hope it'll be accepted this time!

Am just wondering what is a Lockbox? we sent our package with Fedex to the following address:

USCIS
Attn: I-751
2501 S. State Hwy. 121 Business
Suite 400
Lewisville, TX 75067

Is there an email that we can inquire about our receipt?

TIA

The lockbox is the processing center which your file first goes for processing. For you it’s the Texas Lockbox based on the address above. I would call USCIS number at 1-800-375-5283. If they have processed your case but you haven't received your NOA the agent will ask you to write to the Texas Lockbox which is different email from ours (Phoenix Lockbox) that the other filers mention earlier in the thread. They will also give you your case number to track the case. Good luck!

They said the same and just told me to email the lockbox support. I did that yesterday and she said to wait to business days to hear back from them. So we will see. I saw a few people not even getting responses from the email. No idea how this is supposed to work if we can’t get a receipt number.

If it’s been over 15 days from the time the file was received then she should be able to give you the case/receipt number on the phone. We specifically asked for it and she provided it after calculating the days we’ve been waiting. I would call again and you should get a more helpful agent.

I email mine yesterday night. Customer service said you should receive a response within two business days. So I should hear back Monday. This has never happened to me before so it’s very overwhelming!

Never happened to us either. Have faith. If they cashed your check or charged your credit card then they should have it. Seems a lot of us had the same problem so I’m guessing it might have been a computer glitch.

Oh I see. Because on the rejection letter we received, it says "please submit the application package with the appropriate fees to the address listed on the bottom of this letter."

And that address is a POBOX instead of the original phoenix location I sent to

The returns usually go to the service center or field office that issued the letter not the contractor lockbox.
