Terror Threats - Reason for expediting a case?

Does anyone know if US Embassy warnings about Terror attacks are reason enough to ask for our case to be expedited? I assume not but thought I'd ask.

It’s possible if you are the resident of such hotels. Are you? But then hotels usually have guests not residents, so No.

2015-06-16: I-130 Sent

2015-08-17: I-130 approved

2015-09-23: NVC received file

2015-10-05: NVC assigned Case number, Invoice ID & Beneficiary ID

2016-06-30: DS-261 completed, AOS Fee Paid, WL received

2016-07-05: Received IV invoice, IV Fee Paid

2016-07-06: DS-260 Submitted

2016-07-07: AOS and IV Package mailed

2016-07-08: NVC Scan

2016-08-08: Case Complete

2017-06-30: Interview, approved

2017-07-04: Visa in hand

2017-08-01: Entry to US

Maybe work at such a Hotel, maybe time to look for another job?

I'm in the US. My wife's job is a block away from 2 of Nairobi's most popular hotels so it's pretty scary. The 1998 attack killed over 220 Kenyans. Not in our embassy, but the bank next door collapsed so there is precedence.

(Lived in Dar and went to school in Nairobi. Lost some schoolmates in Nairobi back in '98. SMH. And the bridge near us was bombed back in the Idi Amin days. SMH.)

But, no....if the threat was more direct - to YOU - then maybe, and even that bar is high.

But an expedite for a less direct, more general regional, possible threat...I seriously doubt it. Just one person's thoughts.

Possibly they would think - Find a safer place in your own country, first, if you are so worried.

Think of Nairobi often....

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

If it's not a direct threat, I wouldn't have much hope at all, sorry. Blanket advisories just aren't sufficient.

Reminder that expedites are a faster path, not a fast one. If one is concerned about the well being of their SO, best thing is to focus on keeping them safe, not relying on immigration timelines.
