In case the strategy wasn't clear, it should be now:

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/elizabeth-warren-declares-contested-democratic-national-convention-the-final-play

It's a chess game trying to do one of two things:

1) Prevent Bernie from running away from the nomination, by saturating the vote with numerous candidates (which is why Warren has stayed in, she's the most impacting Bernie "vote stealer", numerous other candidates however, if it were between Bloomberg/Bernie and Biden/Bernie, their voters would choose Bernie) and keeping his % lower

2) If they can't get an establishment candidate who can get a majority (which they can tell when they pool establishment/moderate candidate votes together), they plan on keeping enough people in to try and force a contested convention which is more likely to help an establishment candidate.

The real question then becomes, are they willing to risk a Democrat revolt over this establishment trying to maintain power? Is Bernie really lobbing a grenade into the DNC establishment? Or is he participating in a stunt aimed at trying to facilitate controversy to mimic the attention Trump got?

Heard a radio add today by Bloomberg,  that infuriated me. He was basically blaming Trump for all the Corona problems.. Politicians playing politics with stuff like this makes me angry.

He then implied he was in charge during 9 11

Wow. 😳

https://nypost.com/2020/02/27/ad-spending-for-democratic-primary-exceeds-1-billion-report-finds/

Quote

Ad spending for Democratic primary exceeds $1 billion, report finds

And this was right before the SC primary.

They're expecting 250-400 million for Super Tuesday.

Dems spent 400 mill in 2016 on the primary, Republicans between 350 and 400.

Dems could easily surpass 2 and 3 billion for the primaries alone.

Just imagine how many homeless they could house with all that money.  Seems a waste to spend it on millionaires.

Well, that’s five minutes of my life I will never get back!

You know, I understand that Bernie thinks he can change America for the better.  I can actually get his misguided beliefs have meaning to him.  But what confuse the hell out of me is the vast numbers of people, whom you must consider that at least a certain proportion are actually intelligent, who believe his ideas make sense.  I talk to people who blame Trump for the current $22 trillion debt, and talk about how we need to reverse it, turn it around.  Yet they support Bernie, whose economic plan will cost around $100 trillion ON TOP OF the current debt, and will have to be funded by none other than OUR increased taxes.

How do smart people see this as any sort of a solution?  Would they be voting for Bernie if it wasn’t for TDS or OMB syndromes?

So Klobuchar is also out the day before Super Tuesday and with her own state voting.  Apparently, Obama was working the phones this weekend.  I think the Dems call it Operation Burn Bernie Part 2.

Biden cannot take the heat, maybe Obama will be a shadow President if Joe possibly wins.  I heard Rush opining that maybe the DNC is resigned to Trump winning, but feel a senile Joe will not do as much damage to the down ballot as Bernie.  It is interesting thought, with Mayor Pete out, Trump is now the youngest male running for President.

Actually, that makes a lot of sense..........but I voted for Bernie in the Texas Democrat primary, and I want a Bernie/Trump contest in November.

I would like to see a Socialist vs Capitalist election as well, but I think the DNC is going to do everything possible to stop that even if it means huge political rifts.
