Hello everyone! I received approval for my EAD/AP combo card this morning without taking biometrics. I heard most of these cards are not mailed until biometrics are completed...but I am still glad my case is moving.

This is for people with EADs approved, but who hasn't received their cards yet. Not sure if this suit addresses the biometric issue that most people here are experiencing. Also Greg Siskind says that this is the sixth (!!) major class action lawsuit filed against USCIS within the last two weeks!!

THat's great. Two questions:

1) Did you have prior biometrics at ASC?

2) what was your processing centre?

EAD was just updated this morning to "New card is being produced." No update on our travel waiver or AOS which were all sent together.

We were able to get Biometrics on March 16th, the day before offices closed.

 Thanks. I do not have any prior biometrics at an ASC.  My processing center was NBC.

Thanks! I hope I receive the physical card shortly. My approval date was 02/18.

Just got my new biometrics appointment for entire family. August 5, ASC Philadelphia. Original date March 26.

Got a letter from USCIS regarding the August 13th interview cancellation. The status update said "We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if we need something from you". However, the letter just stated the interview was canceled due to unforseen circumstances - and nothing else it's so frustrating when they make you hopeful and a week later you are stuck in limbo again..

I am tracking 250 cases around my own case number, and I saw a few of these interview cancellations in July. Not sure why they are doing it, but you are not the only one!

Me and my daughter just the 2 of us it seems. I didn't see any other cancellations

Good news: USCIS is postponing the furloughs until Aug 31st at least. Thank you Senator Leahy!! Hopefully, August is the month of biometrics appointments!!

So I made an myUSCIS account to track my own case, but also 250 cases (the max number allowed) around my own case numbers. I will get an email if there any updates to any of them. You can set it up here:

Helps you feel like you are not the only one stuck in limbo. Out of those 250 cases, there were 3 interview cancellations on July 14th. Also of those 250 cases, 192 have their last update on April 10 which is when this batch of cases got their fees accepted. 😕

So if you want, you can check the case numbers close to your own. I am sure there are plenty of cancellations. 😕
