My husband has been in AP in Islamabad since April 2019, 1 day after interview received dd5535 filed and returned, last update was 11/2019 after we sent inquiry, no updates since even after we’ve sent inquiry a couple times in December. So over Islamabad and their process 🥺

Sadly enough, I don't think it's just the embassy in Islamabad. My husband had lived in Spain for 12 years legally and still was in AP for over a year with a second interview with me in attendance. Finally I had to get our Congressman involved to get some kind of response.

 Good luck!

Oh wow! Really? We’ve gotten our senator involved for an update on our case but that wasn’t much help, they don’t even respond anymore when we send an inquiry. last response I received from the embassy was back in November telling me that our case is still pending and is in administrative processing

after the congressman's inquiry of why after the second interview we still didn't hear anything for 3 months, we received an email asking for an update medical, new passport photos, and updated ds-160. He got everything turned in August 2019 and got his visa within 10 days. Its in our time line.
