Still no word on my dad’s approval.

😭😭😭

I see some approvals are coming in for January 2020 from Nebraska office, but no word on our December 2019 case. I opened an inquiry, but still no movement on the case. 😭😭😭

My dad is alone there I really want him here with me 😭😭😭😭

Same here, December filer but no movement after may 6. I did inquiry too but no response yet.

No movement since May 7th on my dad’s case.
Who are you filing for? Are your beneficiaries in Pakistan?

My dad is in Pakistan too, do you think it might be bacause of some security clearance that their cases are experiencing delays?
I am so disappointed 😭

Also a Dec 2019 filer - how are you submitting an inquiry? I tried to do it online but it said it is not allowed yet. When I called and spoke to an agent for an update, I was told no changes have been made to their files & that I can call back in 30 days to file an inquiry. Not sure why I need to wait 30 days?!

I did an online inquiry where I selected approval notice not received as suggested in the group before. I was hoping it would initiate some movement, but nothing has changed since May 7th.

I called as well it was useless. Not sure why they are asking you to wait for 30 days. Try doing it online: https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayNDNForm.do

it didn’t help me, but helped others in the group. May be it will work for you.

Unfortunately, by doing an inquiry that you didn't receive approval notice won't expedite your case.

I think it would be interesting to know who’s filing online vs paper and if that’s affecting approvals.

I thought everyone filed I-130 online; didn't know paper applications were an option. FYI - I filed online in late December for both parents. Receipt came from Potomac.

It is for my mom, there might be security clearances, I'm hoping to get approval or reply in June.

Yeah you are right.
I did it through a lawyer and he filer paper. I really would have preferred online especially during COVID.

but I thought ultimately they upload all cases online, i can see the uploaded file on my onlinr account.

I applied for my mom’s AOS from US and she got her gc in 3 months.

I am expecting something in August because Nebraska’s timeline says approcimately 8.5 months.

I filed mine online for both my parents on January 2020 - Nebraska Service Center. Mom got approved 13 days ago. Approval notice came from California.

i’m still waiting for my dad. Idk how long will it take. I have not started my mom’s nvc stage since I have to wait for my dad

God has perfect timing; never early, never late. It takes a little patience and it takes a lot of faith but it's worth the wait. ❤️
