Sorry, I jumped into the wrong thread.

No harm. Just didn't want you to go astray with your process and wouldn't want you to make recommendations on your knowledge of the CR-1 process to a K-1 person. It's confusing to begin with and adding anything more can be destructive.

I submitted my RFE 20 days ago and today I checked the app and it said my case was approved. So that means I’ll receive my NOA2 soon?

If your meaning of soon is this week no. If your meaning is next week, maybe. If your meaning is in three weeks, then there is a good possibility. Your almost there.

I finally received my RFE

tl;dr although they have evidence that we've met in person, they need specific evidence that we've specifically met in person in the last 2 years.

Good news is that we did :) in fact, we met in person 3 times in the last year alone.

But I'd love to get all inputs, advice, tips, resources. I know we only get one chance to do this right.

Should I get a lawyer to check over everything after I've pulled together materials? Any recommendations?

Full RFE

"You must establish that you and the beneficiary have been in each other's physical presence at any time during the two years immediately preceding the filing of this petition.

You submitted a copy of the beneficiary's biographical page from her passport with travel stamps, copies of your airline travel itineraries, copies of photographs, and hotel receipts to establish that you and the beneficiary met in person. The photographs indicate that you and the beneficiary met in person. Further, the evidence submit establishes that the beneficiary travel to Turkey. However, the evidence does not confirm that you traveled to the Turkey within the two year requirement. Furthermore, itineraries, reservations, and confirmations only show that you booked a trip not that you actually traveled. Evidence without detailed information submitted does not demonstrate that you and the beneficiary have met during the two-year-period.

Submit evidence that you and your fiance(e) have met each other in person at some time during the two-year period from December 27, 2017 until December 2019, the filing date of your petition. Evidence may include, but is not limited to:

  • Copies of travel documents (airline tickets, boarding passes, etc.)
  • Photos (date and place of the photo must be handwritten on photos).
  • Letters written to each other after your meeting(s), referencing the specific date and place of your meeting(s).
  • Photocopies of your passport (including biographical data pages and pages showing the entry and exit stamps showing that you have both been present in a given location at the same time.
  • Affidavits of friends, neighbors, or other knowledgeable associates. All affidavits must conform to the guidelines cited below:

and it goes on to talk about what are acceptable affidavits."

You don't need a lawyer to do this. You are very capable in reading the RFE and responding with EXACTLY what they want. Gather all the documents from the bulleted points and organize them accordingly. Do a cover letter explaining what you are including and then sign the letter, include the RFE and send it back to them with the documents you will prove that you met. Please, make sure you make a copy of everything you are sending in the event you need it for whatever reason.

Think...you have a dog in this fight. Just saying.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

We are now 50 days waiting our RFE answer.. It is so annoying.

Thanks for completing your timeline and profile. Now to answer your statement/question.

You are still within their published timeframe for adjudicating a RFE replay.

Processing of your Form I-129F. will resume upon receipt of your response.  If you have not heard from USCIS within 60 days of responding, you may contact the USCIS Contact Center (UCC) at 1-800-375-5283.

It is almost impossible to determine USCIS workload and when the adjudicator can get back to your file, since the adjudicator likely just picked up another file and started working on it after sending out your RFE and putting yours back in the stack. It may be safe to assume that you may hear something in 2 to 4 weeks, maybe sooner(?). It is safe to say that at this time, USCIS is seriously buried in paperwork and short on workers, just look at the protracted processing times for everything....

Good luck on your immigration journey.

Hi all, for others like myself who got their NOA1 in January (jan 30th for myself)
it is getting close to the end of the estimated 5-7 month period that the USCIS states it takes for them to give us an NO2 update.

I understand with everything going on in regards to covid it has potentially pushed things out further but I was curious, has anyone contacted them to get an update once they have passed the 7 month period and if so how can I go about doing this as well, even if all i get is a generic update saying that covid is making things take longer.

My NOA1 was Jan 17th, got the approval today. We are so happy. I guess they are buying time and stretching as far as possible. Good luck!

The seven-month mark may have been moved forward. You can check here for the most current processing times. Send an email to USCIS. https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/displayONPTForm.do?entryPoint=init&sroPageType=onpt

BTW, my answers to your questions have come from using Google searches.
