It looks like Canada may have cancelled K1 visa interviews.... We have not received an email yet though confirming the appointment was cancelled.

If it's cancel then do they reschedule it for you or I have to reschedule it myself?

It's to early for the embassy to have an answer to that question. Remember, we are in a state of calamity and as things begin to settle down then I am sure we will hear more on how they are picking up the pieces. Don't expect anything to return to normal for 2 weeks to 2 months.

Find the US embassy website and monitor for the latest information and instructions. Everyone here is in the same boat as you.

Actually, we are still considered immigrant (see here: https://bit.ly/3d7vuPk).  Even though K1s are non-immigrant.

So, you should be fine unless you get an email saying to reschedule. So just keep in mind this sentence from the post.

"The Consulate General in Montreal continues to process immigrant visas but depending on staffing capacity and host government restrictions, may need to reduce routine immigrant visa appointments."

As a side note you should totally join the Canadian FB group :) -- The only thing I have seen so far happen in the group, is the medicals in Montreal have gotten cancelled for the next 14 days.

Yes it looks like you are right! I just checked the website where I booked the interview, and the interview is still listed as valid. I guess we'll see if this lasts... I am already a member of the group actually, it's been extremely helpful so far

US embassy in Croatia has suspended visa services, except for C1, D transit and crewmember visas for the time being.

Did they inform you about that, or you contacted them?

With the on slot of embassy's reducing their staff and day to day functions, couple that with no VJ member is reporting that their case status went to "in transit" yesterday, I can only guess that there will be no shipments until further information is available. This is my opinion and has not been confirmed from any governmental agency, so I put it out there for your edification. I'm heartbroken that I have to report this grim news. Stay strong as we move further into the COVID-19 stages.

Thank you Greenbaum for keeping us up to date. Things will slow down for sure for a time. As I saw someone write today, these are historical times. And those are always cause of turmoil in most aspects of life. Let us hope that they do not last long.
