Say ‘goodbye’ to robocalls: The TRACED Act passes through U.S. House

WASHINGTON (KSNW) – There may soon be an end to those pesky robocalls. The U.S. House of Representatives has passed a bill making it harder for the calls to get through to you.

The Telephone Robocall Abuse Criminal Enforcement and Deterrence, or TRACED Act would push carriers to implement a caller authentification system and require companies to block the calls for free.

The vote passed in the House of Representatives with a nearly unanimous vote, 417-3. “The robocall issue is one issue, maybe the one issue, that’s united everybody, Republicans, and Democrats,” said Rep. David Kustoff, R-TN.

   Finally. Something Democrats, Republicans, cats, dogs, old, young, rich, poor, and even contrarians can all agree on. The only thing I would really like to know is who are the 3 jackasses who voted against.

3 years under Trump, and it's the ONLY productive thing the house has done.  I'd say Bravo!, but the reality is much sadder.

They were taking a brave stand to protect the robocaller jobs. Wait, they are robots.

I'd say the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act was slightly more important than this bill, but I applaud all the non-robots who passed this.

No Trump got Criminal justice reform done, to help alleviate the Black Bias in sentencing, and undo some of the Clinton era laws. Remember when he and Biden called blacks Super Predators. Yet those living on the government plantation line up to vote for their captors year after year
