i know marriage certificate has English and Urdu but that’s not what the are asking for. They are asking for Nikkah Nama translation. Nikkah is in Urdu, you need to get that translated

Get those docs notarized too. just incase. 

 

you already have Nikkah Nama translated in Eng? I had to get my translated. It didn't come with English at Nikkah ceremony

Did you submit the nadra marriage certificate? I think you get it from the Union council where your marriage took place. It's a bilingual document. 

 

Marriage documents needed for Pakistan are:

1. Nikah nama Urdu

2. Nikah nama translation 

3. Nadra marriage certificate (bilingual: no translation required)

and it says I need more then one marriage certificate like what heck is that ?

Here is an excerpt from the NVC reciprocity page on Pakistan:

 

"For U.S. immigration purposes, Pakistani Muslim applicants must present both an original, signed Nikah Nama (with its English translation) and a NADRA-issued marriage registration certificate. Note that while both documents reflect similar information, each on its own does not constitute sufficient proof of marriage"

yes I have this but I never submitted because didn't know we need to. ill go ahead and do this tonight. thank you.

This is not correct.

 

my brother had to submit 3x. There is another doc. What you posted is marriage certificate which I know is English + Urdu. They are asking for Nikkah name in Urdu + English
 

they want this translated.

I mentioned three things in my reply to KnightGame.

 

Marriage documents needed for Pakistan are:

1. Nikah nama Urdu (similar to picture you posted)

2. Nikah nama translation (translation of above)

3. Nadra marriage certificate (I posted a sample picture)

 

Did I miss something?
