Mine was received on the 23rd as well. I just tracked mine and it still says “At NVC”. I suppose I’ll check again later.

I really hope yours is sent out today. I haven’t gotten any email. I did ask the lady I spoke to if my case had been sent and she said i would get an email when it’s sent, although she never asked me for my email address so I’m guessing they have it in their system already.

Today and tomorrow are big days for some as your case file may ship out to your embassy. Check CEAC for updated progress and look for "in transit"!! If that shows you are on your way. Shipments are throughout today and tomorrow so don't get discouraged if your record at CEAC has not changed over to "in transit” Also, for those who want to have a little fun in tracking your shipment see the DHL hack on the first page of this thread NUMBER 19 for instructions. NOTE: The DHL hack information will not be available until Wednesday as the DHL and NVC computers must sync with each other to produce the outcome.

 

You have three stages 1) transit - shipment is in the air or soon will be, 2) received - physical case file is at the Embassy and 3) ready - your case is ready to schedule and complete your interview.  These will be your current state or status to your case file once you have received the case number. Once your record is set to "ready" you are ready to proceed in processing your next steps as listed in your P3 for your embassy.  I have most P3 if you hit me up with a request, I will post back the links.

 

Please don't screenshot and post your CEAC status as it just clutters up the thread. We all know what it looks like. Let us know your progress as we want to celebrate with you. Good luck.

I’m not sure, but the lady I spoke to just gave me both numbers.

The invoice number you won't  need at all.

Most embassies do not use the invoice ID but when scheduling your payment and interview you will be asked for it for Nigiera.

We received an email Jan 7 saying that our case left NVC and is in transit to the consular. We submitted the DS-160 today, Jan 8. @Greenbaum could you share the link to the Abu Dhabi, UAE P3?

Don't do anything in advance until the case is ready at embassy and the embassy sends you an email to the petitioner to follow these steps for Scheduling interview, Medical exam, police clearance etc.  Usually takes about 2 months to receive.

Maybe someone will come along and explain  assigning an agent as I have no experience  with that.
