it is just as what i had said. Still, I can write in logical points format that might help you understand . Here is my attempt.

 

1. LIE is bad (if you agree proceed to the following points, if you disagree, stop reading ).

2. We ask people to swear/take an OATH 

3. PERJURY is LYING under OATH. 

 

See the connection of LYING and PERJURY? If you got that, then here is the point:

 

Okay, so now, if we could not care less about LIES, and politicians who LIE, especially one that LIES majority of the time, why would we be bothered so much about PERJURY? just abolish PERJURY, and abolish OATHs that would allow PERJURY to happen, since we can live with LIES. Maybe we should also push for more people to LIE, since TRUTHS carry no meaning, as we can live with LIES.

Find spouse that lies a lot, teach our kids to lie, as they will surely make great politicians that we will vote in the future, to emulate our favorite leader. To prepare them as the next breed of leader to replace the well known liar that we support right now.

You missed the fact that perjury involves a court of law.  If perjury was charges for lying based on a political oath, well see the earlier argument.

i think i have missed you making a concrete case with evidence that to prove the following statement

Only an idiot would attempt to make the argument that some politicians don't lie.  I know I can't think of a single one.  As for you wanting Bill to prove it, all you need to do is a tiny bit of searching to uncover a metric ton of lies by all politicians on both sides.
