Okay sorry Greenbaum for making you mad. 😂

I'm not mad. We all want factual information to be given. There is very little margin of error in this process so what is the proper and correct answer is what is needed. Your intention to help is admirable. Don't let this hiccup prevent you in helping out here. We need additional eyes and ears for changes so we are all up on what is being required for the visa process.

Oct 15 is your NOA1 date. When you see your actual hard copy you confirm this as the receipt date as such will be printed on your receipt. The NOA1 isn't used for any part of this process except for accuracy when updating your time line. Otherwise it's has no baring on anything.

I'm a bit confused here, on our hardcopy  Uscis received our petition on 10/10/2019 but our notice date shows 10/15/2019. So between the two dates which one is actually my NOA1 date?

A few days either way of the actual date is not going to sku the dates to where they are not accurate or not usable.

Read your original post and it does come off as you are disparaging government employees. Your comment now further adds to the argument but with a better explanation of the original post. Most furlough's for government employees are due to government shutdowns and not because it's Friday and for some reason, the person or persons want a day off. Whether someone takes a day off or not during this process you will never be able to pin it on furlough Fridays. If you can I'd like to see the statics of that for USCIS with a creditable link to your information. Otherwise, I think we are done here. Good luck on your visa journey.

I don't care what you think. Furlough Fridays were started in 2009(after being utilized over several decades before) and have nothing to do with government shutdowns. My post was a tongue in cheek joke that you took off the deep end. Google has everything you need cause you're right. We're done here.

Read through all your posts and checked my hard copy. The "Notice Date" is as correct as I put three months ago - Oct. 11th. 😪

I wish I found something that can also make my day haha. Never mind.🤪

.....Oh wait sorry, is "Received Date" actually NOA1 date? Mine is Oct. 8th!

So my NOA1 is actually 10/21, not 10/25?  😱

Packet Sent 10/18

Delivered to Lockbox 10/21

Fee Paid 10/25

NOA1 10/25

Just to add from my post earlier. Got the hard copy and my notice date was 22/10 not 15/10 as per the email and app. I know it doesn’t mean much but any hope of even a single day sooner means so much
