Are they actually going into your account or are they just skimming through your page?

They don't ask for your passwords. In fact, they specifically tell you not to include your passwords. They can only see what you post publicly.

If you use the DOS site, use the pages for your country:

https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process.htmlhttps://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process.html

For the I-864 you can fill it out online or by hand, sign it and scan it.  Then you upload to the NVC.

Always use the most current form(s) from the USCIS website.

Thanks Paul!

Does that mean we need to keep some posts public in order embassy to see? How do they really use it?

Just be aware that anything you post or send online, whether public or not, deleted or not, can always be retrieved.

Are you sure the I-864 is not filled out ONLINE?! That's not what been reading in here! The issue with relying on some of the "guides" I've found on VJ is that most of them were written almost a decade ago! Furthermore, the stuff one finds on DOS is pretty generic and does not address the specific process questions I have asked above, which I think only someone who has gone through the process in recent months or has been following recent updates/changes may be able to address. They keep changing things like crazy, as I'm sure you realize! Thanks

"Filled out online" is a phrase with meaning.  The DS260 is filled out and submitted online.  The I-864 can be downloaded, or completed in a browser, then printed, signed by hand, and "uploaded" online.  It is not "filled out online".  Only the DS260 is filled out, signed, and submitted "online".

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

At the 2nd stage of the process (see the guides drop down box above for complete instructions),  the Moroccan will fill out the ds 260 asking for all social media sites used

always best to know how immigration defines and uses this so check the USCIS  government site  (this is immigration)

https://travel.state.gov/content/dam/visas/Enhanced Vetting/CA - FAQs on Social Media Collection - 6-4-2019 (v.2).pdf

by definition Social media are interactive Web 2.0 Internet-based applications. User-generated content, such as text posts or comments, digital photos or videos, and data generated through all online interactions, is the lifeblood of social media.

so, any site you have used in the past to send and receive messages,  talk,  view videos,  or send your photos will  be needed to be listed.  there is a drop down list on the form but they need all sites used in the last 5 years  even if you deleted them.  the form only  asks for user name of all profiles /  not the password

While filling out the "social media" question on the DS260, there was a drop down, and I could not find things like email, of even WhatsApp on there, so the beneficiary ended up not listing those, and only listed Facebook and Instagram which were in the drop down menu. Is that a problem? Thanks!

P.S. What's also interesting is in the FAQ PDF above, they don't even define "social media"! I thought that'll be the first thing I'd see when I open that doc!

it says all social media and there are actually thousands like dating sites,  gaming sites,  chat sites ,  penpail sites

if yours is not on the drop down list ,  you still need to include it / you can always type up an additional page and print out the ds form and mail it weith the AOS instead of sending it internet

BTW whatsapp messages and many other sites  are encrypted

Immigration  is more concerned to see list of contacts and sites you frequent

A CO did (a few years back) disclose to a USC that her bf was talking to many women  saying he loved each of them/  the CO, at that time,  asked to see the person's cell phone /called green card shopping

deleted ID"s can still be bought up / just google your own name or user name and see what appears
