I understand, it feels like until we get our interview approval our future is super uncertain. It'll be a huge relief when we get approved. What has made me feel better was reading over interview experiences and hearing a lot of people get approved on the spot, as long as they are prepared/have evidence of bonafide marriage.

Didn't they send you the Notice To Appear the first time around? What did they do and what did you do after the interview?

From what I've read, if they have issued the NTA, that means you are in the first step of removal proceeding aka deportation. And you are supposed to leave the country.
