Hello i am new to this website. 

i am US citizen. i filed my  petition for my wife i130 in december 2018 .. i got only letter that they received ..  

now its been almost 8 month.. i have not received anything .. can anyone tell me what should i do ? and how long it will take ?

Every service center has it's own challenges. Nebraska Texas California Potomac 

01/28/2019 - Mailed Express Mail USCIS Lockbox Phoenix

01/29/2019 - Received by Phoenix Lockbox
02/04/2019 - Receipt Notice Via Text Message assigned to Nebraska Service Center

We have been at Nebraska Service Center since Aug. 7, 2018.

That's insanity that it takes 2.5 years for a paper to be opened. Seems like all the resources are being spent at the border.
