Part of this document is missing in the scan

Uploaded my birth certificate to NVC and it was rejected and this is the message they wrote "Part of this document is missing in the scan", I don't understand what they want, there is nothing missing!

Did you submit a front/back scan of the birth certificate? I had paperwork for something entirely different and they didn't accept it without both sides.

Only the front, the back is blank but I guess I should send them a blank page...so stupid.

Give them what they ask for .. front and blank back .. yes. It’s actually not that unreasonable as often the reverse side of official documents is used for annotations etc.

For our i-129f we sent front and back of my husband's BC, even though the back was empty. No reason not to, it doesn't cost you anything extra really.

It might be the back that's missing and it might be it simply isn't clear that they entire page is in the scan.  Could be a blank section of the full page is missing.  If it is, how are they to know it's blank?
