And I am sure the airlines are charging it on all originating flights because of a notice they got from the Philippine gov't , not knowing there are exceptions.

It sure looks like that, I guess if your coming from PI to USA your gonna get ripped off

I just checked my Delta Account as well. It appears as if they are putting the Travel Tax on my ticket as well if I go from PI to USA.   Booking from USA to PI then no travel tax.

Yup originating outside of the Philippines and no Philippine travel tax is added. Traveling to the USA from the Philippines and they automatically add the charge.

So just maybe Davao is having the terminal collected with the airfare purchase the same as NAIA ?   It would be nice if they all handled the terminal fee that way.

@Hank, well it’s better if also in Cebu they include the terminal fee in your airfare. Coz my friend she flew from Cebu back to Lafayette, Indiana. So my husband&I was surprise for no terminal fee in Davao..

Hello!

I am flying to JFK departing Cebu via Eva Airlines next week. I still have to inquire if the travel tax and terminal fee are included in our tickets.

However, I booked my aunt’s family to Hawaii departing from Cebu via PAL. I messaged PAL and confirmed that the travel tax and terminal fee are already included in the booking.

Travel Tax, with the exception of PAL it usually isn't collected with the airfare.   With EVA I am not so sure they collect it.  You would have to read though the list of fees/taxes paid and look for one that is P1620.

As for terminal fee I don't believe it is included for Mactan/Cebu.  I think the terminal fee is only included when flying out of NAIA and now Davao.   Would be nice if they got this all organized so it is included for all airports.
