Next encounter was with the actual American CO a female very strict I think window 54, I think she has sort of a name around USEM with the people who have had the misfortune of getting her as their interviewer she is very strict and attention to detail focused like a blood hound, if she finds one weak link she proceeds to work it until she is satisfied or it is unraveled.

I am pretty sure I know the person you are talking about.  I was doing my interview couple years ago and I saw some sourpuss looking lady who had "I hate men' written all over her face.  I thankfully didn't get her and got some cool dude whom did our interview.

I have been told my many I have a mean looking face by more than one female in my life, I knew if I drew her I was going to have to basically shut my mouth cuz she would try to jerk my chain.  I watched her do a few interviews, I never saw any facial expressions on her all day long.  She looked like a truly depressed individual.

I can imagine but I was not there, but just by the number and kinds of questions she asked  she was looking to fail someone.

is she STILL there??!!!     When my wife and I were there this woman CO was literally screaming at this little Filipina, hammering her with questions.   Our CO was cool and spent more time chatting than quizzing my wife.

Thank you my friend it's been very tough to stay on the mission, but there is little else to do but try to stay focused.

Just waiting on the embassy to send my fiancee a letter of endorsement. Then she can go back to the NBI in Manila and they will write their letter of explanation and send to the embassy. Still red tape but hopefully soon we'll finish  this leg of the process.
