That is for employment based immigration.   Not family based.

Hi.  Could someone help me solve a doubt?  Does anybody know how long it takes to respond to the RFE after the USCIS receives the evidence?  thanks for answering.

Been in the same situation, submitted my evidence April 6th after the interview but nothing has changed,I have called USCIS twice, the first time I was told to wait 60 days,if theres no response I call back, I called yesterday and they told me I wait for 30 days,if I dont get anything I call them back,so all am going is waiting, I wouldn't be worried too much, I have EAD AND AP but my worry is am travelling to see my kids back in Kenya for 6 weeks that's why I have been abit worried but all I can do is wait

As others have mentioned, there is no set time for response for RFEs. Here is a link to a forum Google search for "RFE Response" with over 11,000 responses. While you are waiting, perhaps you could review some of them, and try to determine a time frame for response to RFE.

https://www.visajourney.com/search/?&q=RFE Response &page=2&search_and_or=or&emc_is_online=-1&emc_has_photo=-1

Good luck on your journey.

There is a goal of 60 days, but it's only that - a goal. The actual amount of time could be days to months or longer. The reason for the RFE + the response provided would likely be the biggest factor on how long it takes.

Not a newbie but lost my old info years ago) I have been through this process before --all the way through naturalization-- This site has always been a great help to me.
