Asking for someone I met through a Facebook group .

CR-1 case

after four months of being in AP her status change to “Refuse”

She was in AP for mistakes that were done on the Affidavit . She then corrected it and submitted it again, right away. Now her status at NVC says  Refuse. She called embassy and embassy told her to wait for email which will tell her when to pick up passport and further instructions ...  is this the end of it ??

Application is incomplete can mean multiple things. The best time to discuss the 221g that he handed to you was right there at his window so you would have more clarification. Well maybe and maybe you won't see a supervisor. They avoid meeting with applicants because I am sure it is emotional for the beneficiary and they just don't want to get into a confrontation.

Go see what you can find out is the only suggestion but be prepared that you won't meet with anyone.

Hello, I hope you are doing well. I was wondering if you have any idea on the following info:

Thank you

I am not familiar with CR-1 cases so I tend to avoid answering. I can recommend that you post your question in the https://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/134-ir-1-cr-1-spouse-visa-case-filing-and-progress-reports/ link with is the CR-1 thread just like this is for the K-1 group.

Also, this is embassy specific questions so you should find the thread where that embassy's discussions are taking place.

That isn't how that usually works.  Most embassies do not accept walk-in appointments regarding consular services.

You are correct. Even US Citz need to make appointments.

My husband had his interview last August 14 and he received 221g asking for my cenomar. Aug 16 we submit it to 2go (221g paper, cenomar and his passport). August 19 based on 2go tracking it was received by the embassy. Ceac tracking from August 14 (after the interview) until August 22 is Administrative Processing. On August 23 status was changed to Ready - Please follow the appointment schedule provided to you by NVC. If you do not have a schedule from NVC, please wait for scheduling instructions or a notification from the U.S. Embassy Manila.
August 23 we received a mail via 2go from Embassy the same 221g from that my husband got from his interview and which he includes in the 8/16 package.

as of today 8/29 the CEAC still showing this status with case updated 8/28.

I am kinda confuse with the process :(

You're expecting results too quickly. You likely submitted the paperwork before they even sent the letter out.

Things move slowly. You sent what is needed. It's just waiting for them to process it now.
