Hello all.

My NOA 1 arrived on the 20th May with instructions saying to await the biometric appointment letter. To date I have not received this, is this unusual?

I have checked the May filers and it seems some have it whilst others are still waiting.

1 to 4 weeks is normal.

Did you live in an urban area or somewhere with a large amount of immigrants? ASCs do get busy.....

I live in Midland, West Texas. Not quite a border town but fairly close so perhaps that's the reason?

Do you suggest I hold off or give them a call?

Thank you for replying so quickly.

Yes I'd wait maybe one more week before calling.

Agree with K1, wait one more week...

This is just conjecture, but you mentioned your location. It wouldn't surprise me if DHS has had to re-allocate a lot of resources from nearby areas, such as yours, to try to accommodate the masses at the border. It may right or wrong, but that is the reality of the situation.

While you are waiting, :time: It helps everyone that uses the forum.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

We're in the same boat with you. NOA1 was around May 22nd - aside from the 3 letters for the NOAs we haven't received anything about biometrics or SSA.

Hey, I'm also in Midland! Hahaha.

Great!

Totally not related to visas and a total long shot, but i don't suppose either you or your partner know any good fishing spots around here! I am having trouble finding any :)

My husband says there aren’t any in Midland, you have to drive for an hour or two to get to any water 😞

Hi guys, I am experiencing the same issue. I sent my package in on May 13th, NOA1 notice date is May 20th, I received it in the mail on June 10th, still no biometrics letter🙁

There seems to be a lot of us in the same situation, some even further back than us. Hopefully it will arrive soon, getting tired of checking the mail 3 times a day!
