Yes you can work while everything is pending, you will have to renew EAD at least twice before AOS is approved.

Phase I - IV - Completed the Immigration Journey

I filed I-360, I-765 and I-485 in April 2017 at the same time but my lawyers didn’t knew what they were doing and tick C31 box. So my I-485 was processed after I-360 Approval.

After my approval on 12.19.18 everything went smooth and fast. Even received EAD C14 for I-765 which I found out is kinda rare. But I still read all posts and answer all that I can and know. It’s your time now as well as @FridayGirl@69

Amen dear! I'm still so excited for @FridayGirl@69 LOL she nearly blew my phone asking me every week when I think she was getting her interview! I almost wanted to send USCIS my resume so I could start working with them!😏 😂😂😂😂😂😂
