I had my oath ceremony and received my naturalization certificate yesterday. I’ve a work related travel coming up in 2 weeks so I’ll be going to the passport agency to apply in person. 
 

I’m glad to be done with USCIS! Good luck to all!

So tired of waiting...Applied in june, biometrics in july and radio silence ever since.  Case status online says completion time august 2020 and estimated wait time 6 months.

I live in PHX so the CA service center is handling my application.

Submitted in the end of July. Yesterday, interview was scheduled. Minnesota state.

Oath done today in Boston Faneuil hall. Smooth process of 360 people (couldn’t hear from how

many countries these 360 were-  due to wailing babies and bad public address system) . Next week spouse’s oath. 
 

but for two close calls (both related to USPS) the whole process was smooth. 
 The USPS episodes were quite scary:

the IRS Tax transcripts mailed to us were delivered to wrong mailbox in the building. We could see via USPS mail notification with images on email that the IRS letters arrived. The person who received them was kind enough to stick it on the mailbox top for us to pickup after quite a few days (probably only then they checked their mail) . We had a week left for interview and IO did not ask for it anyway in the interview. 
 

Next scare  was oath date letter by mail (the oath letters were not posted online at all) : it was part of held-mail at post office during holiday travel. On Collection  the USPS clerk wrongly rubber-banded two other apartments’ mail with ours. Luckily the oath letter was in our bunch and we returned the other apartments’ mail right there in the post office. Imagine what might have happened if the oath letter was bunched with wrong apartment mail (like IRS summary) and that person was traveling or if that person did not return  it to the USPS in a timely manner.

Anyone has exp from Fairfax VA center on how long it takes to get oath scheduled. I have name change in it..Interview done and approved on 01/06/2020.

Wife's interview completed and her application approved yesterday! Not sure why, but they really seem to be pushing the processing. Our estimating interview time still shows as August 2020 on the https://myaccount.uscis.gov/ site, despite today's updates of interview completion and recommendation for approval. Oath Ceremony was scheduled on-site after her interview (Baltimore Field Office) and we got Thursday morning.  SO happy and grateful, because I have surgery scheduled for Thursday afternoon and it will be a relief going into that knowing that we don't have to worry about an Oath appointment during the time that I'm laid up (::knock wood::).  I'd reschedule if I had to, because this takes precedence; the surgery is planned not an emergency and I wouldn't make her wait a moment longer than necessary. One more step and we're done!

how long after the interview did you get the Oath letter / Oath ceremony?

@Mamamia00 mine about 3 weeks after mid Nov interview, my wife’s about 6 weeks after (she got a canceled letter for dec oath in about 3 weeks  as requested Oath ceremony date was Jan. Neither letter showed up online (and still system not updated beyond interview letter). The IO kindly made sure the dates were in Jan due to our Dec travel. Only anxiety was letters were not posted online so depended on USPS mail.

No sign of oath schedule letter..Interview was done on Jan 6..Approved same day in system..Name change is there. It seems that every third Thursday oath ceremony is scheduled in Eastern Court of Virginia ..But haven't seen any letter scheduling for me.

Any idea how long it takes to get letter in Virginia

Wohoo, just got a notification via text that my interview has been scheduled. The notice has not been uploaded to my USCIS account yet but I guess I'll see it there soon 😊

It took about 6 days for ours to show up online, but that was a holiday weekend so yours may be a bit quicker.

Thank you for the feedback! How far out was your interview date? I'm a bit worried about the civics test so I'll have to study some more for sure...
