Thank you for the update. I have also applied for N400 in  June i am still waiting for the interview. My local office is Newark .

I think Mount Laurel processing time wait  is way shorter than Newark office.

I filed on June 21st and Newark was originally my local field office but on Dec 21, I got an alert they transferred my case to Mount Laurel. That’s how I wound up there. And definitely the processing times looks way shorter. Hope you get your notice soon!

I am just getting ready to file for the N400. I am little bit worried about the interview. I was married but now I am divorced I have my GC for 10 years. My case is little bit complicated. Do I have to hire a lawyer? Is he going to do any thing positive? Is it important to have him as a witness with the officer?

Thanks.

You should at least consult a lawyer. Most offer free consultation, but some may require a small fee. Either way, it never hurts to get a legal opinion, especially with complicated cases.

I filed in Newark on 25th June and still with them. Estimated wait time is 1 day and estimated completion time is 2 months (March 2020).

mine estimated wait time is zero since one week. Estimated completion time is 2 months too. I think they are taking too long for Newark office.

I asked him before he asked for 1200 to just file and come with me to the interview.

It was employment related. A pending federal job that required US citizenship as condition for employment but before I even got a chance to follow through with the docs they requested, I already got the interview schedule notice. Interview is Feb 25 at the Mount Laurel, NJ field office

Just need your suggestion. I am interested in applying for one federal job that's required US citizenship. Do you think Immigration can expedite my N-400 application process on that basis. I can print the requirement for that  job the person has be be US citizen. Thank you

Is anyone here applied from Los Angeles? San Fernando office? I have applied for my N400 in June 2019 but no updates since then (except the fingerprints) and I'm also in green card condition removal process with them since June 2018! Calling the contact center does not help much either. They keep saying you are in Que for the interview.

Will do.

Anyone has experience with filing by himself while he divorced in 5 years? Is it hard?

what are the complications  from your case if you  don't mind sharing ? it's not hard . Some officers may ask about your previous marriage. other  s won't even mentioned or asked why you are divorced.

I don’t have the GE card yet ;my first time applicant appt is only in May. However I got an email from CBP saying one can enrol on arrival at above international airports. I guess that includes updates like the citizenship. hope that link helps. Boston is backlogged severely. if you can travel into those listed airports with the appropriate documentation I think that’s the best/easiest way.

I would suggest attaching your planned imminent travel info along with your expedited Pp application. And apply with the 1-2 day shipping fee. Good luck.

for requesting an appointment (online) at Boston Or any pp office they don’t ask for pp application confirmation number etc. So maybe you can book an appt about 10 days before your travel date and use it if there are no signs of pp coming through. you can cancel the appt if not needed.  apparently the pp office  issue the pp in 1-2 days if you show your imminent travel
