For those of you that are used to using CV according to the format in Argentina and not a resume in US.  I studied business with a concentration in marketing and I help with making resumes and coaching for interviews when it comes to the US format, interviews, etc.  Not trying to sell services or anything.  But, if I can be of any assistance, please let me know.

Not to toot my own horn, but everyone I ever helped landed their desired jobs. :)

I was thinking on doing a master here but now it seems I have one already according to the US educational system. In case I want to do another one or a PhD I can presenting this document.
Through this company And evaluation I was able to see also how many credits I have and my GPA. According to my husband this are good information to have for job searching and interviews.

How did you send your transcript to Wes? It says there that you either have the university send it in a sealed envelope or you send it in a sealed envelope. If it's sent by us, do we have to ask the university to have it sealed and stamped when we pick it up? I'm asking because my wife is confused about her sending it over to Wes and is not sure if every foreign university delivers it in an envelope.

Thanks in advance!

Muchas Gracias!

No hice apostillar nada.

Hello!  For those of you whose parents have visited, I know they have to prove that they can pay for themselves, that the trip have definite dates, and that they have ties to the country.  Are there any other requirements?  Also, how much would they need to show to increase the chances of being approved?

Had biometrics appt this afternoon in Brooklyn We showed our appt letter and had to fill out a short form with biographical info (name, country of birth, race, etc). We then gave back the form, letter, and his passport and got a number. My husband waited about an hour for his number to be called but then the actual fingerprinting and photo took just a few minutes. He got the appt letter back with a stamp saying biometrics complete, signed and dated by the USCIS worker who took them.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the case status to be updated that his biometrics are complete? Ours still says case received.

Good!

I personally never got that update. It went from case received on July, to RFE on September and to case Ready to schedule interview on January

My parents came in January but They had the visa already from 5 years ago. The officer at customs didn’t ask anything about family members in the US.
Something that help proving you are not overstaying is job paychecks ’recibo de sueldo’, prove that you have a house or rental agreement or family members to take care of.

My mother-in-law does not have a job, since she takes care of her mom and gets paid by a neighbor to take care (part-time) of a toddler. So, we would be going the “someone will pay my expenses for me”. But, she does have a house and her living mother. Now, my sister-in-law only has that she is attending school. So, that’s why we are asking. Would it be worth trying to apply? We just want to spend the holidays together.

Ok, we just got NOA (again) for AP stating they received our application and will use the existing biometrics to review. What? We got combo card already. Should we call USCIS?
