July 2019 filer! We've been at "ready to be scheduled for an interview" since January 2020. Nothing since. I am assuming only when USCIS are officially back in the office will they start scheduling the interviews.

I just saw my case changed to ready for interview to be scheduled and I got excited. But I guess the interview might not happen soon..

I filed in October 2019, Biometrics taken on Nov 19 2019. I live in Wyoming and we are only 600k people here so I hope it will be faster once they send my case there. Has someone had experience there?

I called the uscis today. I’m a California filer. Filed in July 2018 and got a priority date in August 27th. June 11th 2019got transferred to Potomac. Since then I have had no updates. I’ve called them once before about processing times and if I can file for request about a case outside normal processing times but there was no mention of another transfer.
Today the representative told me that my case got transferred to NBC in October 2019. Previously they have not mentioned that my case got transferred to another location.
I did not receive anything in the mail nor has there been a change online (still showing case received in Potomac).
I was already thinking this is over since I’ve been waiting for so long...

anyone had this happen and not received a notice in the mail? Any other thoughts on this?

For people who is in " ready to be scheduled for an interview" state whose 18 month extension is expiring within 3 months? Has anyone called USCIS or received any feedback?

Yep. My extension letter expires in August 2020, have been "ready to schedule" since April 2019. I haven't called USCIS yet, but I did submit a "case taking longer than expected" request. I was supposed to hear back from that by May 16, but haven't yet....l.

I am a California filer and got a RFE. After 2 months of sending the response, I was transferred to the National Benefits Center. Does this mean i will get an interview letter? I see most cases here have been for interviews.

It's very likely, yes. Under normal circumstances they want to interview people for ROC who 1. weren't interviewed for AOS and 2. who can't provide enough evidence of a bonafide marriage. The first category are most often routed to NBC from the very beginning, and some cases (like K-1 people who never had an AOS interview) get transferred at a later date. The second category usually only get transferred to NBC after an RFE where the RFE response wasn't good enough for them to be able to make a decision.

Does an MSC number mean for sure an interview?  I see people in my filing group (Dec 2020) have already gotten approval without an interview but they don't have MSC numbers.  I had an in-person AOS interview, and we've had a kid since so I dunno what better evidence of a bonafide marriage there is haha.

NOA: 12/23/2019

Biometrics done: 1/21/2020

Interview pending: 4/30/2020
