Question middle names

I am told by fiancé that names converted to English might not be correct ! What do you do !

They have no middle name on their passport!

If it is a mistake it was on the first filing on I-129f form ! She gave me the spelling and read book of names after for correct English spelling and wanted me to change it ! I said no we go with what we had started with

Yes, we do not have anything but given name and last name in our foreign passports. There is a government-approved spelling policy which often results in something very unusual to an English-speaking person, because transliteration rules they chose are definitely not English. It is better not to take it by word but to have a proof of spelling when you fill a form. Now I assume your issue is that you filed an extra 'middle' name on your I-129F which is not a middle name but a patronymic and can not be justified by her passport. Or did she misspell anything else?

There's a simple solution here: what does her passport say? The name and spelling will be dictated by whatever is in her international passport.

Well When I finished filling out the form I asked her to check spelling of names and address to be certain of any spelling mistakes! She told me this was good to go ! I took it on her word that 

names were proper ! Now she has a issue ! I told her leave it for now we will deal with later on ! I think that she was certain of the names in English ! Myself I wouldn’t know !

No middle name on passports!  

So if the question is regarding the "middle" name (patronymic name) and it's not in the passport, there may be a way to get this corrected before the interview. Check out this similar thread:

I don’t know if in fact it’s misspelled since the middle names are not on passport! One is taking her russian name and spelling it in English ! There are many ways of this spelling ! But none on any documents any where ! In the English language she has used ! She has always spoke and wrote in Russian are Ukraine ! So is it wright are wrong who knows !

She can literally spell it however she wants. My husband chose to use his patronymic name (also not on passport) as his middle name. We just spelled it however it made sense in English for pronunciation purposes.

Calm down. It won't matter. Patronymics are not middle names, do not worry about what is on 129F. 129F is about you, the petitioner for the most part, not beneficiary. Once 129F is approved, US Embassy in Kyiv will know what to do, and they will issue K-1 visa that will match the names on International passport, without Patronymic. When she files DS-160 before the interview just tell her to copy the name from her passport, leave MIDDLE NAME blank forever, do not put patronymic in there, that goes for her parents names as well. But do not worry about 129F discrepancies for her name.

There is an annoying wrinkle which seem to be Ukraine specific. They have a magical transliteration guide for traditional names the sole purpose of it seems to be "Make it appear in Latin different from what Russian uses" They force this official spelling into international passports. So Ольга (Olga) becomes Olha for example. I, personally, had no idea this was a thing and cheerfully did 129F using "Russian" way to transliterate. As I said there was no issue with it at in Kyiv. The only side effect it leaves 1st names in this strange state so like HP+IC said, in English they would read weird, and there is no easy way to correct it.

I see, that is super frustrating. The new transliteration guide for Russians is equally annoying, trust me. Any name that ends with -ий or -ия ends up being "-ii" and "-ia" so basically interjecting these totally unnecessary i's into the name, i.e. you can't be just Maria, you would be Mariia. It's awful. The Russian government refuses to change it unless you can show an official document from another government with a different spelling. We're waiting until Naturalization to cross that bridge...my husband hates that his name ends in "-ii" it just confuses everyone and makes people even more befuddled by his unusual name...but because it's the official spelling of his name according to the Russian government and passport, he has to use it everywhere here.
