Did anyone else get a N-400 naturalization interview while they had not heard back from I-751?  If so, what did they do at the interview to address the I-751?  Did it come up at all or did they ask for documents from the I-751 application?  Did you ever hear back about the I-751, or did it just disappear?

If anyone with this experience could share, that would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, i got my N400 interview with a pending I751, on july 26 i decided to attend the interview with my husband just in case, the officer told us that it was a good decision to attend the interview with my husband because she was gonna do two interviews one with him for the I751 and another one by myself for the N400  . She said that the letter didnt specify any of that but she was glad he came with me. In the I751 interview she asked us a couple questions about how we met and asked us to show her some more prove about our marriage , she wanted us to show her something from our wallets like health insurance cards or gym membership or something like that, we didnt have anything with us really since we dont have health insurace at all or gym membership, i told her i could go grab car insurance from the car but she said No. I really tough all the documents i sent before were gonna be enough since i never got an RFE . after that she made my husband leave and she conducted the N400 interview, i passed all the civic, writtin and speaking test and she gave me a “Notice of continuance” and a “RFE

saying that i have to submit more initial prove and after that she will review it and make a decision.  what was a little weird to me was rhat right before i left she asked me if i wanted my oath ceremony to be held in one of the closest cities were i live and i said yes and she told me that that ceremony is in Sept 5th so it makes me feel like she will most likely aprove me and that the waiting time after a RFE is actually really short. I sent all my documents for the RFE today, let’s hope she aproves me and i can attend the ceremony on Sept 5th.  i hope this helps and let me know what happens with your case.

Congratulations!  My wife's interview is Monday, Aug. 12th.  I googled the uscis tampa citizenship ceremony and found the dates for 2019.  It looks like hers will be on September 17th.

@GerryC327 - I had my interview at Tampa yesterday afternoon too.  I don’t think the oath ceremony for us will be that far out on 9/17.

The dates you find are for Judicial ceremonies (presiding by a judge).  They are pre-scheduled before the judges needed to be taken off other duties.  Another type of ceremony is called, Administrative ceremony, which is presiding by USCIS or other government officials.  The later type is offered way more frequent than the Judicial ones, and the dates are not publicly available.  You could look at people from Tampa here on VJ who have recently been naturalized.  Their dates are almost every week, and many of those dates are not listed on the Court’s website you found (and I found it too).

Thanks for the info GBOS.  My wife's interview was about 20 minutes long and the officer told her she had passed would get a letter about the oath ceremony.  The sheet that he handed her showed that she had successfully passed the test, but in the lower part he checked the 2nd box which said her case must be reviewed for a decision to be made.  We only read that after we had walked out of the USCIS Service Center.  We went back in and my wife talked to a receptionist who went back into the offices and told her that the officer was new and that all his cases needed to be reviewed by a senior officer, but not to worry that she should be hearing shortly about her oath ceremony.  So right now we are anxiously awaiting for the website to be updated with her letter.

@GerryC327 - My oath letter was uploaded online last night.  It is scheduled for August 30, 2019 at 7.30am.  I think your wife will most likely be on the same date.

Just checked the website, but no letter yet.  Hopefully we'll hear something within the next few days.  Congratulations on receiving your approval and date for the ceremony.

Congratz to you and your wife. Just want to confirm what GBOS has said as my wife also passed tru Tampa and also found out the same info that he stated above. The admin ceremonies are held every Friday in Tampa and sometimes even 2 times a week. From my wife experience, the ceremony should be scheduled for 2 weeks after the interview (give or take a couple of days)

Again a hearty congratz and wish you all the best. Please do us all a favor, register to vote and exercise your rights to ensure we get the best ppl possible representing us. Have a great day.

Got the notice that my interview was scheduled via email last night, but there is no letter uploaded yet!!!
This suspense...

On top of that, I'm flying out to Germany from 8/28-9/10 (family visit), so I hope it'll be after. Since Chicago normally has a month notification time, I just hope for the best!

By the way, does anyone know if you get another notification when the letter is uploaded into my account? or do I need to keep checking? And how long does that normally take?
Sorry, getting a anxious over here 😊
