I just read part of her accusations and I dont believe her. She went to his room of her own accord, kissed him of her own accord. But he forced her to perform a sexual act and she resisted with all he might.  I dont see that is possible.  Without getting family unfriendly,  i just think you cant force that

I notice all the top Democrats that were calling for the governor’s resignation have gone completely silent over the Lt. Governor, and AG now that it would leave the state in the hands of the GOP.  Ain’t hypocrisy grand!  Overall, I think these are really all red herrings, but it is fun to watch this blow up in the face of the Democrats.  I still contend the Northam stuff came about due to his late term abortion interview, no one in the Democrat Party figured it would potentially take out the other two.

I cannot say that I believe her accusation without knowing more details, but suffice to say what I have heard is that in political circles way back when they did actually know about it. So it's not like it was something that she kept hidden until now. There was a wide circle she spoke about it to. Some have said that this is coming from republican ops, but others have thought that perhaps this is coming from the governor himself... trying to deflect his own problems and because he dislikes his own Lt. Gov.

 

I understand your question though, and also without getting family unfriendly... it depends on the circumstances you know? In your mind you envision a woman fighting with all her might... perhaps even taking that opportunity to... well, injure him. She stated that he was 'too strong', and there are some cases where a guy might use his physicality to choke, rip her hair, or threaten to harm. Or if it is a person in position of power, to urge compliance via coercion. Still other women react differently when facing sexual assault. The mind shuts down, or they may relive some other forms of trauma (she had supposedly experienced that in her youth), and may comply to simply 'get things over with' so that they will not be raped. I'm not saying what the case was here, only that I view her statement cautiously to explain that it could be possible.

The issue is that the Dems set the bar where it is, we have to believe her, he must go.
